Partner Experiences
21st Century Equipment was thrilled to attend the National Western Stock Show (NWSS) once again in 2025, both on the event grounds showcasing our John Deere machinery, but also as a partner with two amazing young ladies, Addison Hodgson and Tenley Becker, who made their journey to show their livestock at the NWSS! Addison was present to show her pigs at the Junior Market Swine Show on Tuesday, January 21st, and Tenley was with her steer at the Junior Market Steer Show on Wednesday, January 22nd.
The National Western Stock Show (NWSS) is an annual Colorado tradition, taking place this year for sixteen days between January 11th to the 26th. The NWSS is nationally recognized for its professional rodeo events, horse shows, and livestock exhibitions just to name a few highlights, and attendance each year verges on the 700,000-visitor mark.
21st Century won bids for the “partner experience” with both Addison and Tenley at the Colorado Future Farmers of America (FFA) Meat & Greet event back in November and kept us up to date on their progress between the auction and the NWSS itself.
“Showing is my passion”

Addison has been showing pigs for 8 years, as well as showing goats for 6, and plays volleyball for both Eaton High School and a club team in her spare time.
“I am very competitive in everything I do,” Addison said. “Showing is my passion and what I love to do.”
Between the Meat & Greet and the NWSS, Addison was busy not only with the demands of volleyball and getting her animals ready for showing but was also going through dreaded finals at school. Mix that with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, and she was juggling quite a lot this year!
Uno Gets Dos

Tenley keeps busy with sports as well along with caring for her steers, playing in both a club volleyball league and basketball with her junior high school. Uno was the steer she chose to show in 2025’s NWSS.
“My dad helps me out while in school by putting him in the barn daily in the morning after his feeding,” Tenley said. “When I return home from school, I rinse, blow and comb him to help train his hair coat. Once I finish doing that, I return him to his pen and feed him his grain ration for the night. Usually on the weekends I work on my showmanship skills with him.”
Tenley and Uno ended up being the runners up in their class, meaning they’ll be lucky enough to attend the Auction of Junior Livestock Champions on Friday, January 24th. Denver’s 9NEWS station televises the auction of Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion animals. Exhibitors are awarded the majority of the wining bids with 10% being donated to support the National Western Scholarship Trust.

21st Century Equipment would like to extend a huge thanks to both Addison and Tenley, as well as their families, for being a part of their journeys, as well as big kudos on amazing showings.
