In this episode of FarmCast, we’re on-site in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, showing off the latest in agriculture technology. Hosted by Troy Randall, Precision Ag Manager, and Hayden Fox, Product Specialist from 21st Century Equipment, we dive deep into the features of John Deere’s See & Spray Ultimate.

Hayden provides an in-depth walk-around, explaining the dual-product system, which functions as two sprayers on one chassis. With a 1600-gallon split solution tank, the sprayer can simultaneously handle broadcast and targeted applications. Hayden also highlights the machine’s automated solution control, advanced loading options, and ability to prevent cross-contamination, ensuring optimal performance in various field conditions. Additionally, the sprayer’s cutting-edge technology includes 36 cameras across the boom, supported by 10 vision processing units (VPUs), to ensure precise application even in challenging environments like dusty fields.

Hayden discusses the system’s fallback mode, which activates when conditions such as excessive dust or improper boom height are detected, switching to broadcast spray to maintain coverage. The episode also touches on the new carbon fiber boom with BoomTrac Ultimate, which offers superior boom stability and height control, making it a coveted feature among users. Overall, this detailed video provides valuable insights into how the See & Spray Ultimate enhances efficiency and accuracy in modern farming operations.
